About us
Mélissa, Emilien and Olga: Our story begins in 2021, in our village of Murs, in the heart of the Luberon. As a family spending part of the year here for many years, we watched abandoned plots multiply, fallow land, neglected orchards, and areas left aside because they were not irrigated or too remote for conventional agriculture.
Rather than letting this landscape fade away, we felt the urge to act. The desire to bring these lands back to life, to contribute to the local economy, and to one day leave behind a sustainable olive grove for our village.
This is how the idea of planting endemic olive trees was born. Out of passion for local products, for this sacred tree, but also because it is now considered one of the most effective crops for carbon sequestration. When cultivated responsibly, the olive tree becomes a true carbon sink, capable of restoring soils and contributing to a positive environmental impact. In a dry, sunny and windswept region like the Luberon, it naturally belongs.
We therefore imagined a simple and respectful agricultural model, one that adapts to non‑irrigated land, values biodiversity, and rejects inputs, treatments and synthetic products. Here, nothing is forced. The trees grow at the pace of the climate, on living soils that we carefully protect. This approach requires time, patience and constant attention, but it allows us to build a resilient, authentic olive grove deeply rooted in its terroir.
Our ambition has never been to produce a lot, but to produce right. An extra‑virgin olive oil from the Luberon, crafted in micro‑production, cold‑extracted and made with uncompromising standards. An oil that reflects the purity of Aglandau, the emblematic variety of the Vaucluse and the singularity of our high‑altitude land, perched at over 500 meters.
Planting an olive grove where nothing remained is our way of contributing to the landscape, supporting local agriculture, and leaving a positive, humble and lasting mark.
If you have any questions about our olive oil or our approach, we would be delighted to talk with you here.

Our terroir
Our olive trees thrive in the Vaucluse, one of Provence’s emblematic regions for olive‑oil production. They grow in the hilltop village of Murs, just 10 km from Gordes, in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park. This high‑altitude landscape (around 500 m) offers a unique terroir particularly well‑suited to the development of Aglandau, an endemic variety of the Vaucluse. Resilient and perfectly adapted to the region’s climate, it expresses its full typicity here and gives rise to an extra‑virgin olive oil with a distinctive character.

Our farming philosophy
We produce an olive oil with a positive environmental impact by cultivating our olive trees on fallow land in the Luberon, plots long abandoned because they were not irrigated or were difficult to access. By replanting these neglected parcels, we bring forgotten soils back to life while encouraging natural carbon sequestration.
Each young olive tree becomes a true carbon sink: it captures and stores CO₂ in the soil, and this capacity increases year after year. Our goal is clear — to achieve a positive carbon balance, where the CO₂ sequestered by the olive grove exceeds the emissions generated throughout the entire production cycle, from planting to bottling.
Nurturing the land
We select fallow plots and allow them a period of rest before planting. We never plough the soil deeply, in order to preserve its natural structure, microbial life and essential organic layers. A soil analysis allows us to adapt our practices and respect the ecological balance already in place..
Endemic varieties
We cultivate only Aglandau, the emblematic variety of the Vaucluse, sourced from local growers. Resistant to cold and perfectly adapted to our high‑altitude terroir, it expresses its full typicity here.
No treatments
We apply no soil treatments and no tree treatments. Our olive grove is managed without inputs or synthetic products, following a natural farming approach.
Limited irrigation
Irrigation is applied thoughtfully, only when the tree truly needs it and according to weather conditions. Aglandau is a robust variety that delivers excellent results even on non‑irrigated land.
