Ecological awareness and limiting our emissions,
at the heart of our commitment

Sequestration of CO2

'CO2 sequestration' refers to the CO2 that we capture from the atmosphere. It means taking direct action to reduce carbon emissions into the air. It's the most effective approach to fighting for our future.

To achieve this objective, we cultivate only uncultivated, unirrigated land, often abandoned by conventional agriculture because it is unprofitable.

Every year, we plant young endemic olive trees, which enables significant carbon sequestration, previously non-existent on this land, and which increases every year with the healthy growth of our trees.

With this approach, we are choosing to respect our environment by accepting less profitable, but transparent and qualitative production.

Limiting our emissions

02

'Limiting CO2 emissions' 'is the CO2 that we avoid releasing into the atmosphere. It's all the little actions and decisions we take to limit the environmental impact of our business. This is reflected in our ongoing efforts on irrigation and the use of renewable energy.

Irrigation

Every year we review and improve the overall amount of water we use for our crops.

Automatic irrigation, which consumes too much water, is avoided.

Drought is a social issue in our region, and one that will continue to transform our landscapes in the years to come.

Thinking more carefully about our irrigation means helping to develop a common response to this problem.

Energy

Over-consumption of energy is also at the heart of our environmental problems.

As well as making better use of our energy, we are also making it greener.

To date, over 70% of the electricity used on our main site comes from solar panels.

We are working day by day to continue to improve this balance.

Local Footprint

All our labels are designed and manufactured in the region.

We have chosen our partners not only on the basis of their professionalism, but above all on the basis of their ability to improve the production and recycling of what can be recycled on a daily basis.

We are committed every step of the way and strive daily to improve the environmental footprint of all the products used to make our bottles.

All our bottles are prepared on our premises and most stages are carried out by hand.

Each bottle you receive is meticulously assembled: the cork is fitted, the main label, the safety label and the booklet attached to the neck.

Recycled materials are always used whenever possible, but never to the detriment of product quality.
